Overview | Gold 1

Gold 1 is a highly competitive training group for swimmers typically ages 15–18 (sophomore to senior in high school). This group is designed to prepare athletes for championship-level meets, including:

  • December Championships

  • Sectionals

  • NCSA Junior Championships (Spring & Summer)

  • Other high-level USA Swimming competitions

Athletes are expected to take ownership of their training and consistently demonstrate discipline, accountability, and commitment. Coaches work closely with swimmers to foster growth both athletically and academically. Training emphasizes:

  • Advanced stroke technique

  • Aerobic development

  • Race strategy

  • Mental readiness

  • Goal setting and leadership
